The majority of native bee species live solitary lives, and nest in the ground or small holes in trees and wood. Help native bees in your area or entice them to your garden with a homemade bee house made from recycled materials.
Build and keep a native bee box (easy for all ages), learn about native bees and honeybees, and how to plant seeds in your yard for these amazing pollinators. Native bee boxes, reeds, and seeds will be provided at this event.
