MANDALA ROCK PAINTING

Mandalas & summer sun are the perfect pair! Browse the Park Silly Sunday Market and join us for an afternoon of inspired relaxation as we paint mandalas on beach stones! This class will feature a presentation on Mandalas, their meaning and history, as well as many different styles of Mandalas that you can consider painting on your rocks.
The cost includes all of the materials you will need: natural beach stones, paints, brushes, and inspiration! You can make as many Mandala Rocks as you want in the time we meet. Keep them for yourself or give them away as gifts!

Join us as at The Paint Mixer for our Utah National Parks Series! This series features Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Arches National Park. These classes can be taken individually, or you can register for the series of 3. The series is designed to give you 3 beautiful horizontal paintings to display together in your home. Classes will take place the third Saturday of August, September, and October.

Presented by Salomon Running, the Mid Mountain Marathon is a true trail runner’s marathon and is the final stage of the Triple Trail Challenge. The course starts at Silver Lake/Deer Valley through Park City Mountain Resort and then winds down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system to finish at the bottom of the Nordic jumps at the Utah Olympic Park. The Mid Mountain Marathon embodies the essence of mountain trail running with intermittent technical sections, a few sustained climbs and fast downhills. Voted best trial marathon in Utah!
PC Recreation’s Lunchtime Learning is scheduled for August 14 from 12-1pm. Guest speaker, Kristen Ulmer, is a former pro extreme skier and the author of The Art of Fear: Why Conquering Fear Won’t Work and What to Do Instead.
